School Direct Graduate Teacher Training Opportunities
Are you a graduate who is interested in exploring a rewarding career in teaching? If so, we are currently recruiting graduates for the September intake of our School Direct programme, a popular teacher training route that we offer in conjunction with the University of Hull.
Successful applicants will benefit from our extensive experience of delivering high quality initial teacher training, supported by expert classroom practitioners. As a trainee, the majority of your time will be spent honing your craft in the classroom, whilst you will also benefit from the external training and accreditation provided by the University of Hull, our teacher training partner. You may also be eligible for a tax-free training bursary, depending on your qualifications.
We would welcome applications from graduates in the following subject areas:
Mathematics; Physics; Biology; Chemistry; Modern Languages (French or Spanish); English; Geography; History and Primary Education.
All candidates must be educated to a 2:2 degree level, and have attained at least GCSE grade C (or standard equivalent) in both English and Mathematics (Science GCSE will also be required for Primary posts). Please note that, due to the allocation criteria dictated by the Teaching Agency, we are unable to accept applications for other subject areas.
If you would like an informal discussion about these opportunities please contact us for further information on 01472 502297.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. As part of this process, all successful applicants will be required to apply for an enhanced DBS disclosure.
