Certificates Celebrate Academy’s Core Values

Theddlethorpe Academy pupils receive certificates for doing something they can be proud of from Principal Susan Cook (centre). Back row l-r: Jack Drew (Year 6), Caleb Rope (Year 1), Finlay Cone (Year 4) and Daniel Coates (Year 4). Front row l-r: Imogen Burton (Year 1), Alex Cone (Reception), and Sienna McNamara (reception). Riley Taylor (Year 5) was absent.

Encouraging core values of ‘pride, achievement, confidence and effort’ is resulting in certificates of merit for pupils at Theddlethorpe Academy.

Every six weeks the pupils concentrate on one of the core values and staff and pupils can nominate someone who they feel merits a reward. The first certificates were presented for ‘pride’ by Susan Cook, Theddlethorpe Academy Principal.

Year 6 pupil Jack Drew said: ”The core values to me mean believing in myself and my work and never letting myself down.”
