Tollbar Family of Academies is a unique Multi Academy Trust led by experienced educationalists responsible for one of the largest and most successful schools in the country.
Tollbar Family of Academies is a learning community, run by a team who have proved their worth by maintaining their own outstanding outcomes for the 2,200 students at Tollbar Academy, while turning a failed Community Arts College, with a further 900 students, into an Academy that the community is proud of. Such is their success, that Tollbar Academy has not only been rated outstanding on consecutive occasions by Ofsted, but is also ranked in the top 2% of high-performing schools in the UK.
In 2010 Tollbar sponsored Cleethorpes Academy, confirming its elite status as a high-performing school ready and willing to share its success with others. As a fresh start Academy, Cleethorpes has already attracted national interest for its unrivalled transformation.
It is this expertise that has led Governors at Tollbar, with the full support of the Department for Education, to form its own Multi Academy Trust. The Trust was constituted in May 2012. Tollbar Family of Academies is now offering others the opportunity to join in its success, to share good practice, and to work together to help those less able than itself to succeed alongside it.
